Shipping policy
Domestic Shipping
A flat rate of $7.00 is charged for domestic shipping for all orders under $200 and is completed with USPS First Class Package Shipping (3-5 business days, not including processing time). Free Shipping is offered for purchases $200 and above. California residents shall be subject to sales tax, included at checkout.
Once a package is shipped, we are no longer able to change the shipping address, reroute to a different address, or change the method and speed of shipping. Ocatnip has no additional leverage with the USPS or with local post offices.
Shipping Insurance Offered at Checkout
We offer affordable shipping insurance against lost, damage, or theft via Route. Route allows easy claim filing in the event that your package is lost, damage, or stolen even after your order is marked as delivered by the carrier, and will cover the cost of your package entirely or repurchase your order for you. Shipping insurance can be easily purchased by checking the Route option box in your cart.
Unfortunately, Ocatnip is not responsible for lost and stolen packages and packages damaged during transit as Route handles all claims and reshipments on Ocatnip's behalf.

International Shipping
We only ship internationally to Canada. For all international orders, we strongly encourage that customers purchase Route Shipping Insurance (starting as low as $0.99) as Route is responsible for reimbursing all shipping delays or lost packages. Ocatnip is not liable for any orders once it leaves our studio and is picked up by the carrier. Please double check that the correct shipping address and telephone number is provided. Please note that we are unable to make any changes once the package is picked up by the carrier. The customer is responsible for any duties, fees, or taxes incurred.
Shipping to Canada
Shipping to Canada is offered at a flat rate of $30 (up to 20 business days after processing). Customers shall be responsible for all duties, taxes, and brokerage fees applicable to the delivery.
Processing Time
Orders are processed and sent out for delivery within 3 business days following the day of purchase. As noted above, processing time is not included in shipping time. Busy holidays and sales events such as Black Friday Cyber Monday may delay processing time for up to 5 business days.
Incorrect Items
In the rare event that your package contains incorrect or missing items, please email support@ocatnip.com with your order number and the items that are incorrect or missing and we'll be sure to assist you immediately. If your order contains incorrect or damaged, please include photos when possible to expedite the replacement process.
Defective Items
If upon receipt, your order contains defective items, please email support@ocatnip.com with a photo or video and we will send a replacement or issue a refund immediately. We will cover return shipping if we ask for defective items to be returned to us. Please note that if the item is non-defective, return shipping fees will apply.
Returned Packages
Packages returned to us due to address errors will only be resent if the customer covers the shipping cost of $6.00. The customer must reach out and provide the correct address.
Receipts
All receipts are emailed shortly after the transaction is processed and, therefore, billing information is not included in our packaging.
